Personal Statement
. I am a strong advocate of the Suzuki philosophy which states ??reading music follows the acquisition of good aural, technical and musical skills??. As a matter of fact my first violin teacher used the same methodology. I started playing the violin at the early age of ten. Later on, when my teacher taught me music reading, I continued my music in two different genres: Persian Traditional and Western Classical. Persian Traditional music is very intricate. It requires a strong and sensitive aural, which my teacher taught me very well. Western Classical Music on the other hand, taught me professional music reading skills and stable fingering.
